By the end of next week, 7th August 2026, we should have agreed illustrations with illustrators from across the world on the ‘Global Guardians’, teenagers who will work together to create a better world- its nature, the environment, its threatened communities, and inspire all young children to join them in creating a better world.
The ‘Global Guardians’ will introduce themselves on their website and everyone is invited to join them in the campaign to change the world through its youth. See Stage 2 ‘Factsheets’ below.
Stage 2 (August 2006, an ongoing project and on line from end August 2026)
Development of factsheets on the background of each character:
Vietnam
China
England
Ireland
Iraq
Turkey
Sikh
Indian
South American Indian
Indian (North America)
Aboriginal (Australia)
Dolphin Picachu
These factsheets will include information on art, history and culture of each one’s country to include information on national heroes both historically and today, special reference youth leaders
These Factsheets will be completed Summer 2026 and are intended to be an ever expanding resource on each country, a source of information for children to access.
Stage 3 (August- December 2026)
Selection of stories from around the world to be included in the first book. One from each of the above countries. These stories will be introduced by the relevant Global Guardian and discussed by them all at the end of the story so as to bring out the main points
Stage 4 (August- December 2026)
Development of Global Guardians ‘story’ and of their ‘pledge’ to the world.
Stage 5 (September- September 2026/ 2027)
Development of project funding- merchandising (Global Village)
