The heart of our work remains to help communities stand on their own feet (financially) through supporting predominantly female artisans in the full knowledge that they will have the interest of their families and community as well as their nature and environment fully at heart.

We are currently building a database, a market place, through which you can purchase their work and we will hopefully be bringing beautiful goods to your area for this Christmas, hopefully,  and certainly in the Spring. The initial offering will be from Hanoi, Vietnam (although the website will also have items from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, India etc.) and will be expanded during 2027.

Hanoi was established one thousand years ago as a trading centre, different areas of the city specialising in different crafts. Some 60+ different activities. Over time, various areas of expertise developed into specialist villages in the surrounding area. For example Ba Trang specialises in ceramics and pottery and is world famous. The names of the streets in the old quarter reflect the artisanal activity to be found there. The creativity to be found in the city is electric, embedded in the DNA of the local craftspeople and designers. Quite extraordinary.

Arts & Crafts

Art (reproduction) is a global industry expected to grow to $100 billions of dollars in the next ten years. It builds on traditional artisan skills, keeping them alive and could be a great source of income for local communities. Traditionally Dafur (Shenzhen) in China has dominated this market- 60/70% but an opportunity is now developing in Vietnam (Hanoi) and in Thailand (Bangkok).  We operate in all three markets and our regional base is in Hanoi. As a thousand year old craft centre, Hanoi has a wealth of artists to draw on. It will become a huge centre going forward and we will ensure profits will support educational opportunities particularly for young girls and women.

The following relates to Hanoi.

1: Painting in oil, water colour, wood block, pyrography, lacquer, on silk There are whole streets and districts given over to artists and their work.

1A: We will be offering original art work through an online gallery very shortly. PRINTS In addition to original art work, by incredibly talented artists working in all medium we will have a selection of reproduction works. ANYTHING YOU WANT TO REPRODUCE, ANY SIZE, CAN BE MADE HERE. EMBELLISHED AS REQUIRED

IDEAS: 1. Portraiture. Send your photo (s) with requests to embellish as required. We will work with AI to make the embellishments to your requirements and, once agreed, will produce the artwork in whatever medium you want and in any size. Professional, experienced and very talented artists!!

In addition to the artwork we will also produce cards in miniature to be sent to friends, relatives, clients, colleagues, framed miniatures as well.

• Your garden in full bloom and you! Original painting plus Christmas cards/ miniature framed prints as required.
• You, nude with embellishments for spouse/ partner  I think this is a great idea although I have to say my daughter is less than impressed.
• Wedding, birthday, holiday, birth, death …..
